22 August 2026, Bangi – Nadim Center of Excellence, in collaboration with Klinik Tuah and 80 Healthcare, successfully organized the Basic Surgical Circumcision Class & Introduction to Stapler Circumcision: Simulation-Based Training for Doctors on 22 August 2026 at Tuah Mastery Hall. The program brought together doctors from across Malaysia for a focused educational session combining theoretical learning with practical training.
The program began with a session on the Basics of Circumcision, led by Dr Shamil, covering anatomical landmarks, the principles of circumcision, and a step-by-step approach to the procedure. Participants also learned about selecting suitable patients for circumcision and managing potential complications.
The class continued with an Introduction to Stapler Circumcision by Dr Ali Husaini, providing participants with an overview of the technique and its clinical considerations.
A key component of the program was the hands-on practical sessions. Participants had the opportunity to practise dorsal slit circumcision on mannequins under the guidance of Dr Shamil, followed by a practical session on stapler circumcision with Dr Ali Husaini. The hands-on format allowed participants to better understand the techniques and develop practical skills in a controlled learning environment.
Beyond technical knowledge, the class also provided an opportunity for doctors from different parts of Malaysia to exchange experiences, discuss clinical challenges, and learn from one another. This interaction helped foster professional collaboration and encouraged continuous improvement in clinical practice.
We hope that this program will contribute to the continued development of doctors’ knowledge, confidence, and practical skills in circumcision. The organizers look forward to conducting more educational and hands-on training programs in the future, supporting continuous professional development and promoting high standards of patient care.
